Chris Paul, November 1, 2024
"The final regular season home game for the Londonderry High School Football squad saw the Lancers having to wait an entire quarter before getting their hands on the ball, but ended with their sixth win of the season with a 21-6 victory over the Windham Jaguars.
Comparatively speaking, the Lancers trailed in a number of categories, but lead in the most important, scoring."

“The Blue Hawks will be the No. 2 seed for the Division I playoffs. Londonderry (6-3, 6-2) will be the No. 3 seed. Both teams will have a first-round bye.
“They did a great job throwing the ball,” Londonderry coach Jimmy Lauzon said. “Coming in, we didn’t want to play conservative, but we didn’t want to turn the ball over and we gave them two (interceptions).
“They came out highly motivated,” Lauzon said. “We played good against the run. They came up with some timely passes.”"

2024 Football Playoffs
NHIAA Div 1 Central Conference
Londonderry finished the regular season as the top team in the Central Conference of Division 1. Londonderry, Pinkerton, Salem, and Alvirne all finished with six (6) wins each! The difference between each of the top three (3) teams was very close. The difference came down to two (2) points between each - that means a single extra win from their beaten opponents.
Londonderry finished behind Bedford, which finished with a 17.0 point rating, and Exeter with a 16.25 point rating. So the Londonderry Lancers will be the third seed.
Standings: Boys Football Division I
NHIAA standings are based on the Football Point Rating system that awards points for wins, and additional points for a beaten opponents wins, and are divided by the number of qualifying games played.

Coach's Summary
The kids played with great effort, and we had our chances with some game changing opportunities, but unfortunately, we did not come away with those and Exeter did. Both teams were tough and played physical, and outside of two turnovers we were almost dead even statistically, but it ultimately came down to the big 3rd and 4th down conversions and some red zone opportunities.
I could have put the offense in better position to succeed several times, so I take full ownership of the lack of points scored on Friday. We could have executed some assignments better at times but that happens in every football game and all we can hope is that we all learn from those mistakes and fix them before the playoffs.
Our front seven on defense were excellent all night and stuffed the majority of Exeter’s inside run attack, which is something few teams can do. We need to continue to work on defending the pass game of the opposing team and be more consistent with our tackling going forward. We are fortunate to have a bye week which will allow us the opportunity to continue to work on things.

Final JV game for 2024 - Congratulations on a great season!
Coach's Summary
Outside of the mishap with the officials prior to the game, Saturday was very fun to be a part of. The boys played hard, and they all contributed! The JV team had an excellent season finishing 5-3 and all three loses were by less than a touchdown. They had a chance to win at the end of every game they were in this year and will hopefully learn from those missed opportunities and take advantage of them next year. My suggestion for the JV group is to utilize the next 1-3 weeks to continue to work on everything they have been taught this year, learn, and understand their assignments and what it takes to execute them at the varsity level. In many of their cases, the execution of these assignments is just a matter of more reps, being stronger and quicker. If they take advantage of this time to get more reps, and then focus on the strength and speed this off-season, they will have the opportunity to show off all their hard work next year when it all comes together for them.

Final Freshmen game for 2024 - Congratulations on an 8-1 season!
Coach's Summary
The Londonderry Lancer Freshman football team wrapped up their season against Exeter winning 44-30. The defense got things going right away by recovering a forced fumble which the team capitalized on taking an early 8-0 lead. Exeter didn’t quit and fought hard making the game close for three quarters. However, it was the offensive line and the hard running from Oden Delorey that kept the offense alive.
Not only did the team secure a seven game winning streak but running back Delorey reached a milestone during the game by scoring the most touchdowns by any freshman in Londonderry freshman football history. As the team finishes the season with an 8-1 record the coaches would like to thank all of the parents for supporting the team. A real special thanks goes to our fantastic athletic trainers Michelle Hart-Miller and Meaghan Powers.
