"Astros in space: Pinkerton uses big passing plays to top Londonderry, 38-15"
Roger Brown, September 30, 2024
“I’d say we expected the pass,” Londonderry coach Jimmy Lauzon said. “We probably didn’t expect as much spread (formation). They’ve been dabbling with that a little bit each game and then they kind of lived with it against us."
NH Union Leader Power Poll | After Week 4

"Balanced offense lifts Pinkerton football to win over Londonderry"
Joe Marchilena, September 29, 2024
“Not to take anything away from Pinkerton, but I felt like we gave this one away in a lot of ways,” Lauzon said. “Things we don’t typically do.” Londonderry was penalized 10 times for 63 yards, with three of them giving Pinkerton a first down.
White-Out
The White-Out game has always carried a special meaning. This year the White-Out t-shirt sales benefit the Jake Naar Scholarship Fund. So please get your White-Out shirt for Friday night's game against Alvirne, 10/4.
White-Out Night started during the 2016 season and has raised money for charitable benefits each year. The initial idea of a fan t-shirt themed night came from LLGC Treasurer at the time Dan Johnson, father of 2017 senior Ben Johnson. Sadly Dan passed away in the summer of 2016. The Lancers started the White Out tradition in his memory that fall and funds raised from t-shirt sales went to a college fund to benefit his three children.
Unfortunately, the very next year another Lancer father passed away, and the second White Out in 2017 was in memory of Mike Walsh, father of another 2017 senior player, Dylan Walsh. From 2018 through 2020 the White-Out game honored our military community with a White-Out for Warriors that benefited Londonderry’s American Legion Post #27. After tragedy struck one of our own students in 2021 the White-Out Night remembered the life of Jake Naar and has raised money for the Jake Naar Scholarship Fund.

Coach's Summary
We did not play our best football on Saturday vs an opponent that requires our best football. They are capable of blowing teams out when the opposing team makes a lot of mistakes and that’s what we saw on Saturday. A lot of the big plays and missed opportunities were self-inflicted mistakes, which I feel positive about fixing, however it is tough to accept the fact that we hurt ourselves so much throughout the game. We can play much better and it’s my job to figure out how to get us to reach our capability. We had far too many penalties, mental mistakes, missed blocks, and blown defensive assignments. Special teams did not put us in good field position throughout the day and we turned the ball over twice.
The positives were the receivers came up with some big plays and our defense forced Pinkerton to punt more times than we did, we just didn’t capitalize on those opportunities on offense. Our quarterback play was very good when they were given protection. They ran the ball well and threw the ball accurately, although a tipped pass and a desperation throw at the end of the game led to two defensive touchdowns for Pinkerton, I feel those plays were unavoidable for the quarterbacks. I hope we will bounce back this week as we play a conference opponent that is playing well and ahead of us in the standings.

Coach's Summary
Monday’s JV game was close and exciting, but that does not matter in the grand scheme of things. We did not play enough players in the JV game, we will do a better job giving kids the opportunity to play in the remaining JV games to help with their development. We can compete to win while playing more players than we did on Monday. We are proud of the players that were on the field for their efforts and execution, but we will do a better job involving more players going forward.

Coach's Summary
The Londonderry Lancer freshman football team took care of business on Thursday against Pinkerton. The team kicked Mack Plaque off with a bang defeating the rival team 28-6. The game included some great running from Odin Delorey and great quarterback play from Owen Gray. The offensive and defensive lined dominated the Astros on both sides of the ball by clogging the holes and moving bodies around. The team looks to capture their third win in a row against Alvirne on Thursday.
