"After competing on the road for three consecutive weeks, the Londonderry High School Football team returned to their home field and had very little difficulty in shutting out the Exeter Blue Hawks 35-0 on Friday night, Oct. 13."

NHIAA Div 1 Playoffs

The Lancer's have clinched a Playoff spot!

Londonderry will play a home game in the First Round of the Playoffs. Final seeding will not be determined until after Concord plays in Windham at 2:00 PM on Saturday, Oct. 28.

But first... The Lancer's have a tough game against Salem this weekend to determine final seeding. The winner will likely be the 4-seed - the top seed in the first round.

There are a number of positions opening on the Londonderry Lancer Gridiron Club board at the start of next year:

If you are interested in a position next year please reach out - we would love to help you get involved early. The current LLGC Board is listed in the end of the GoalPost. These are elected positions, but we hope to pass on some knowledge and experience to potential candidates before these terms expire!

Coach's Summary

Friday was an all-around good game from the boys. They played physical and smart all game. We only had one penalty, we dominated the line of scrimmage and only allowed 38 yards of offense from Alvirne on 35 plays.

Offensively, outside of one turnover, we were efficient and moved the ball with only a few mental mistakes. We had over 15 players touch the ball and never punted.

We have a lot of work to do going forward as we play for a top seed versus a 6-2 team and rival. After this, we play to stay alive and advance, every game will be a challenge, every play is meaningful, and every detail matters. This is about the time of the year that we want to be at our best.

Coach's Summary

The Londonderry Lancer freshman football team improved to 8-0 with a win over Alvirne. The Lancers came out strong on both sides of the ball as they pounded the ball on offense and stuffed the Broncos on defense.

The team ended their last home game with a score of 40-13. The team would like to thank all the families and fans who came out to support them all season. The team would also like to thank Meg Powers for being an amazing trainer. The team looks to go undefeated at Salem next week.
