Tied 14-14 at halftime, Londonderry was able to pull away on a ten minute drive ending in a touchdown, and neither side scored the remainder of the contest.
The Jaguars had the ball four times in the fourth quarter, but were unable to score against a pesky Lancers defense.

Coach's Summary
We anticipated a tough game going into Friday, the Blackout game is always a big night for their team and school, so we anticipated Windham would be extremely motivated. Our players were up for the challenge though. We executed better than we did a week ago which was not a surprise because of how well the boys practiced during the week. We opened the game with a stop on defense and then a touchdown on offense, in the second half we opened with another touchdown and a stop on defense. These drives and stops were the main difference throughout the game, they allowed us to stay in control of the game and on a rainy night like Friday, it would have been tough to come from behind, so it was important to get ahead and stay ahead which is exactly what we did.

The defense shut them out in the second half and the offense was very efficient at times, the weather impacted both offenses, but we were able to score just enough. Our special teams gave us good field position most of the game which was something we needed in a tight game like this. Overall, it was a hard-fought game and a much-needed conference win. The boys should be proud of winning on a big stage like that with a lot of factors to overcome.

Lancers Win
Coach's Summary
We can fast forward the recap of this game to the final four minutes which is when our starters seemed to check into the game. After going scoreless for 44 minutes of the game, our offense scored twice in the final four minutes on two pass plays, one of which was on the final play of the game. The defense played well and gave up very few big plays which allowed the offense time to figure themselves out and execute well in the end.
As great as the win was, it was hard to celebrate after losing Matt Wolf to injury in the game. Matt is one of the most dedicated players in the program and one of the most positive which is exactly how he handled his injury. He’s in good spirits and assures us that he will be back in only a few months and when he does he will be faster and stronger.

The Londonderry Freshman football team started the game against Windham with a bang. Running back Jordan Ball took it to the house on the opening kick off and set the tone for the rest of the game. The Lancers won 38-6 which included two scoop and scores and great play on both sides of the ball. The Lancers roll 5-0 as they take on Nashua North next.
