"Lancer Football Squad Get Big Win Over Little Green"
Chris Paul, September 21, 2023
"The Lancers were dominant on both sides of the ball, with the offense scoring on nearly every drive, while the team's defense kept the Little Green to just over 100-yards of total offense and giving up just five first downs."

"Pinkerton-Londonderry is an unrivaled rivalry"
Roger Brown, September 21, 2023
HERE'S one thing that separates the Pinkerton-Londonderry football rivalry from most other NHIAA rivalry games, regardless of the sport: When the Astros and Lancers meet on the football field, both teams often have realistic hopes of winning the championship that year.

The NH Sports Page team was in Derry for the Mack Plaque Football Game.
"As a total of the whole game, I think Londonderry kinda out played them and somehow Pinkerton won the game 24 to 20. ...I want to talk about the Lancers a little bit. Man are they fast, they just have a lot of fast players, and they use four different quarterbacks - they really do... but the thing that stands out the most for Londonderry, their linemen, I mean they have some huge dudes." "NHIAA Review: Week 4"
"The amount of opportunities they gave us... we should have been up at least three scores. I knew it might come back to bite us if we didn't open the second half with a really good drive..." Londonderry coach Lauzon.

Coach's Summary
As always, it was a great atmosphere and experience being a part of this great rivalry. You will not find a more intense week 4 game in the state and it’s always fun to be a part of. I hope the boys enjoyed the experience and use their experiences going forward in case we are in a game of that magnitude again. There were a lot of ebbs and flows to the game which we haven’t experienced much of this season. We started off great, our special teams set us up for the first score of the game. Although our offense didn’t execute well in the first half, the ball carriers made plays, broke tackles, and pushed their way into the endzone.
Nathan Rosario celebrating after recovering the short kick to start the game.
Conor Williams in the opening drive passing to...
Matt Carroll, for a 7-yard gain
Ty Miles making a hole for a long Carson Palma run
Cam Brutus leaving carnage in his wake to score the first touchdown
Jake Perron breaking through the Pinkerton line
Charlie Lantz making room for a Jake Schena run
Cam Brutus breaking out of the Lancer end zone for a huge run.
Jake Perron celebrating Ty Parson's interception
Jake Perron and Cam Brutus celebrating Seth Doyon's interception
Seth Doyon and Devin Boles making one of multiple tackles
In the second half the offense found some rhythm but not enough to come away on top. The defense held a good backfield in place for a while and did an excellent job in coverage all game long, but a few mistakes turned into huge plays and that’s all a good opponent needs to jump on top. Special teams had some ups and downs and still have not played a complete game on every unit.
Jake Perron again through the line, applying pressure causing an incomplete pass
Blake Thompson making the point after
Jaydon Navarro and Devin Boles blocking for Jake Schena
Conor Williams stopping their big guy
Devin Boles on a screen pass from Cam Brutus
Ty Parsons on a blitz takes down Morrison in the Pinkerton backfield
Sam Ogden fought through Michaud and others for a first down
"some huge dudes" - Peter Tarrier, NH Sportspage
This week we take on another neighboring town and competitor in our conference. The loser of this game will put themselves in a tough situation going forward and will be fighting each week afterward to make sure their playoff hopes stay alive. Our conference is the toughest in the state and each game looks like it will matter going forward, so it’s important the players reset themselves each week whether we win or lose and focus on the next opponent. We are hitting the mid-way point in the season, which is when teams head in different directions, so it’s vital that we make fewer mistakes each game, and the players improve on their weaknesses before it’s too late.
JV Wrap-Up

Pinkerton
9-23-2023
Coach's Summary
This game was a good opportunity to see what this group needs to work on. It was really our first test against a good opponent. The JV team is asked to execute the basics which we struggled to do on Saturday, but more importantly, it’s about developing this group together which we will continue to do. The boys played hard but need to be more physical in some spots.
Playing teams in our conference and the style in which they play, the more physical and discipline teams tend to have more success. We struggled in those areas on Saturday, but we showed in the first two wins that we can be that team, we just need to be that team each week. The mistakes will get worked on and the hopefully the boys fix the mistakes they see on the film. We have another good JV team to play next week which should be fun.

Lancers Win!
32 - 19
Coach's Summary
The Londonderry Lancer Freshmen football team defeated their rivals Pinkerton Academy Astros 32-19. Running back Jordan Ball was a beast running through the Astros defense and scoring a pair of touchdowns. The offensive play would not have been possible without the dominance of the offensive line in the trenches. The Lancers overcame a turnover in the second half to seal the deal.
On the defensive side of the ball the Lancers stuffed the Astros twice in the red zone. Great defensive play was made by Devin VanAvery as he made a crucial sack on the Astros last drive. The freshman Lancer football team takes on Windham High School next Thursday at home.
