"Blue Hawks No Match for Lancers in Quarterfinal"
Chris Paul, November 18, 2023
"The Londonderry High School Football team took another step closer to a Division I title with a near effortless win over the Exeter Blue Hawks in their Quarter Finals game... The 27-6 win was the team’s final game at Lancer Park and the victory sets up a tough contest against the undefeated squad from Pinkerton Academy...
...LHS had all facets of their game working, the offense scored two touchdowns in the first half and special teams added another to lead 20-0 by the end of the second quarter... The game was dominated by running plays, due to the strong winds blown across the field, where Londonderry dominated, getting 294-yards on the ground, and having the defense hold Exeter to 168-yards."
New This Week:
Dan Doyon, November 18, 2023
"The consensus on the Londonderry High School football team was that a win against Pinkerton Academy during the regular season slipped away into a 24-20 loss. Since that Sept. 22 night, they had hoped to get another shot at their rivals.
Londonderry (10-1) advanced to its third straight championship game next Saturday when it faces defending state champion Bedford (10-0) in a rematch of last year’s title game..."
Staff Report, September 20, 2023
"The Lancers (10-1) entered Saturday’s showdown with rival Pinkerton in the No. 3 spot while the Astros held down No. 2. The roles were reversed quickly, though, as Londonderry built a 14-0 halftime lead"
The Lancer's moved up to the No. 2 spot, while Pinkerton dropped to a tie with Portsmouth/OR in the 3rd spot.

David Willis, November 19, 2023
"The No. 4-seeded Lancers delivered a nearly perfect performance, handing top-seeded Pinkerton its first and only loss of the season, 42-7.
'Our guys had a great day', said Lancers coach Jimmy Lauzon. 'the offense executed the game plan, and on defense we were really sound, but aggressive. Our guys on the edge created a lot of issues, our defensive line was great'"

Here's the highlights of the game filmed and edited by Ian Melewski with play-by-play from Pete Tarrier and a postgame interview/celebration with the entire Londonderry team."

We are extremely proud of how the team prepared and played last week. They played well on all three phases of the game and it showed what the team is capable of when execution is at a high level. One more week to go. Our coaches couldn’t be more proud of them for all their hard work. Thank you to all the parents for all the effort and support throughout the season!
